since mtl is 1st or 9th depending on the lottery, i would imagine it would take 4 1st round pick (this year included), suzuki or KK, 2020 2nd round and primeau. Not willing to give this to the leafs, oilers, or winnipeg if they win 1st overall.

but if im toronto (already jammed with superstar) would accept right now to get all those 1st round + extra good player... imagine a good team like toronto, winnipeg, oilers, pens, etc. getting 2 1st round pick for the next 4 years... crazy.

What is the deal with next lottery with 8 teams losing playin round, obviously it depends which teams there are, but what’s the deal? Wpg is 13th I think what’s there possible draft number

actually the jets are 15th in the league in pts (17 in draft order, just by pts) so lets say all the playin round team that lose are under jets, that means jets are 1st (12,5%) or 15th. for them to be 13th that would mean that 2 playin round team above them lost (like the pens and toronto for exemple) then their position in the draft would be 1st or 13th.

that's why MTL is either 1st or 9th cause we are the playin round team with the least pts in the standing).

Ok so you win first or retain your draft spot type deal, are they going win pct or points? So depending on upsets they are one or 15, damn I hope they either Cinderella to the finals or lose and grab first and blockbuster for next year.
