Detroit passes it's much more than they can afford to give up. Bernier has a year left and Detroit has 5 promising goalie prospects.

PIT is in a corner with Murray, Concussions put a ton of risk on him, and the league knows Jarry is close to ready, and PIT is against the cap. Murray would be lucky to return a single late 2nd round pick, let alone multiple picks
