We wont trade Domi just for the sake of trading him. Its either going to be for a big winger such as Meier or a top 4 LHD. It wouldnt make sensr to get spare parts for him. We already got a ton of them

Yeah Florida's not moving their future Goaltender in Spencer Knight.

Thats fair, but I wouldnt even consider giving you Meier for Domi without a serious add

That’s fair, but I don’t see the market being that high for Domi right now. In a world where him and the Habs can’t come to an agreement for whatever reason this might be as good of an offer as they’d get. Plus Labanc is a 40/50 point scoring winger, Id hardly call that “spare parts” but I’ll admit the trade might have to be a 1st instead of 2nd to make more sense

What was the point of signing Bob long term then? Florida needs a lot more help on the blue line than in net

He'll just have to backup BOB until he gone. Or hope he waives somewhere.

That seems absurd to keep the best goalie prospect in the world as a backup for another 7 years, why waste his prime? I honestly don't think they would have even picked Knight if they had already signed Bob before that draft. If they're smart they'll move him while his value is high
