Initial Creation Date: Jul. 3, 2020
Published: Jul. 3, 2020

Description
toronto drafts DRYSDALE or Rossi.

could be a terrible idea but would an elite goalie make people feel better about TML"untested" defense. i dont want to say bad/terrible bc they could be fine hard to say. i think the defense is okay. and the offense is pretty stacked

just an idea... stay possitive if possible.

Never heard of him? Seriously? And yes I would take Nutivaara. Especially for a lesser player and a pick.

It’s kind of ignorant that you assume I don’t know anything about CBJ because I don’t agree with you.

There's "don't agree" and then there's "every single recorded fact available to the public at large says you are provably, demonstrably wrong."

And Andy may not be overall a better player, but his skillset is relatively rare, and we need anything we can get that somewhat resembles an edge on offense, because we have an offense composed entirely of secondary scoring and "the defensemen can pinch pretty damn well" and we're unlikely to luck into another Panarin trade opportunity. Adding yet another secondary scorer at this stage does not measurably improve the team.

“We need anything we can get that resembles an edge on offence”

Declines a speedy goal scorer....

23 year old bjorkstrand had 11 goals and 40 points. I didn’t say that one was better just that they are comparable. He’s a solid player. Kapanen has been making great progress on his overall game and puck possession. Still room to grow for sure.

****it. I'm done. Out of patience with your persistent persecution complex. Go whine about how every Leaf is underrated to someone else, because apparently it doesn't actually matter to you if one acknowledges and praises a Leafs' player's abilities if that someone nonetheless fails to immediately fall to their knees in effusive praise and thanks over their lowly selves getting to be Touched By The Divine by way of the suggestion of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire anything at all from the Great And All-Powerful Maple Leafs (peace be upon them). Because otherwise, why the bottomless **** are you still trying to defend a proposal that everyone acknowledges is bad for the Leafs and nearly everyone (yourself being the outliner) also acknowledges doesn't help the Jackets?

It's a funny thing how the Leafs fans that complain the most about the fanbase's (genuinely) unfair reputation seem to be the ones who do the most to perpetuate it.
