The only big pieces from Boston that would attract the attention of Buffalo are DeBrusk and McAvoy. The rest are basically lost prospects that the Bruins would love to get rid of. Buffalo declines

The only big pieces are DeBrusk and McAvoy. They are big pieces. The first and Zboril are also fine. This package is deep, has top end talent and fills needs. Buf gladly accepts. This is close to an overpay it's that good. How many big pieces were you expecting in a 10 piece pile where most of them are good/useful?

Buffalo is getting a bunch of prospects that they don’t need. Yes, McAvoy and DeBrusk are big pieces. But, McAvoy’s numbers have declined this season. Not enough value in the picks.

We disagree.

I wouldn't trade Eichel in division so it's kinda moot anyway.

Absolutely not. Buffalo would decline easily. Nothing in that group adds up to Eichel. You can find ways to get other pieces. You can’t replace Eichel (unless you tank again)
