Flames aren't taking Johansen as the return for a Gaudreau trade. All the talent in the world but he's an uninspired floater who is vastly overpaid. I mean, Backlund out scored him last year FCOL.

As much as I think Johansen will bounce back next year to his normal 60+ points a year and his good 2 way play this proposal is heavily leaning Nashville’s way even considering that

Even if they add their first, why would you want to do this? Aren't you guys thinking of moving Lindholm to Center anyways? In that case I'd talk to the Flyers about a Gaudreau-Konecny trade if they're willing to do it.
