How bad is this

Description
Just had a thought, since none of these teams are my main team it could be real dumb. I just think this kinda works for all 3 teams.
Please fill me in on the good and bad of this one.
I think Blake would probably be better off being patient, but losing sucks so he does this.

Not sure why they would just destroy their future like that

I think that these are pretty close. I think that you're over by the second in the Tampa trade and you're under by about Blake Lizotte in the Islanders trade, but these look pretty good to me.

I would take out Carter. Isles would still want to compete and not take back a cap dump

Vilardi's ceiling doesn't exceed Cirelli's.
Turcotte's ceiling doesn't exceed Barzal's.
Bjornfot's ceiling doesn't exceed Sergachev's.
Essentially, we'd be exchanging our next two first-round picks for upgrades at all three spots plus time, as none of our prospects will reach the levels the new players are at currently for two or three years.
Yes, I'd rather have Turcotte than Thomas, and I'd rather have Vilardi than Kupari, but I'd make these trades in a heartbeat -- IF the coaching staff thought we could accommodate three #1 centers on the same roster. Maybe play Cirelli and Barzal on the same line for the first two years?

I wouldn't do this. You're trading away the 3 best prospects in the system, a potential franchise center with this year's #2, another Kaliyev at #35, as well as next year's 1st rounder (which will very likely be another lottery pick) for three players that will require exorbitant raises this fall. It's nice that all three of those players are established NHLers, but you're throwing away all of the price-controlled seasons of each of these players. The Kings go from being in an ideal cap situation to being another cap strapped team overnight.

I think that the Barzal trade is unnecessary. Kopitar and Cirelli for now and Turcotte and Cirelli in the future is more than fine. Make the two draft picks seconds in 2020 and 2021 and we could even afford to add Akil Thomas if necessary.

That is more reasonable. I'd consider something like that. The 1st round pick in 2020 and 2021 should be off the table in any trades.

These trades are kinda tough for me. I believe vilardi can match cirellis number for sure. I see him as a 20+ goal scorer and 70+ points. Sergachev would be an upgrade over bjornfot though. I’d do the Barzal trade but not for the 2nd overAll being involved, so I’d do next years 1st. Not bad ideas at all but I’d stay the course with what’s happening right now.

Agreed on Vilardi's eventual level but I doubt that he reaches it this season, whereas I think Cirelli would and Cirelli's defense is already highly touted, which it will take Gabe a little while to achieve.

I think none of us is enamored of the Barzal trade if the Cirelli/Sergachev trade is made.
