Only four Russians. Knyazev and Kotkov will stay in the Q. Ibragimov, Knyzhov, Chekhovich and Yurtaikin. Important year for Chekhovich, has to prove himself.

Melnichuk is Russian. Whether or not hes the starter remains to be seen. Korenar is still a strong young goalie.

Korenar is a good goalie with a bright future But I think Melnichuyk is a future all star
