Its been backed up by other writers saying that they believe the Cancuks value Toffoli more than Boeser and there is logic of putting him on the trade market bc of their cap hell

If there is a GM who is goign to trade a 23 year old winger on a down year so he has room for a pending UFA. thats Benning

Honestly it’s smart to trade Boeser and sign Toffoli. They gave up assets for Toffoli just re-sign him. Boeser won’t be able to be re-signed with Pettersson, Markstrom, Toffoli and Hughes to get more money. They can also possibly dump Eriksson in a Boeser trade and still get 1 or 2 good young assets back.

pretty much like how some Avalanche fans from this page were not pleased with all the rumours Price for Byram. (or some Sabres fans being unhappy about the multiple Eichel trades on AGM) This rumours is also making some Canucks fans go berserk on AGM lol
