I hope you don’t thibk that Armia and Juulsen combine would only cost a second round pick? Juulsen was playing like a solid stud before getting hit twice in the same game in the face. He have some very good potential and could still turn out a solid top 4 defenseman. He would alone be worth that pick, as for Armia he is on a cheap deal got some size, can score and is a very good defensive forward very active with is stick and to create takeaways. Would be worth a second at the deadline for sure since Coleman landed a much higher return for a years and a half of him.

I don’t think that the Shark have any assets to make this move unless they are open to trade Meier on a package deal. Juulsen was looking like a solid NHl defenseman before getting hurt. He still can turn into that solid top 4 defenseman Montreal hope when they drafted him. Armia is a very solid third line forward who can score goal and can play anywhere in the line up he got speed.

Juulsen will be a 5th d-man at best IMO

And if you're trying to get Meier, you'll have to move Juulsen, Armia and your 2020 1st rounder if it's around top 10. At least

I don't think the Habs will trade Juulsen nor the Sharks would be interested in him. Sharks already have RHDs Burns & Karlsson locked up long-term and there's also this kid RHD Ryan Merkley coming up. As for the Habs, their D-Core isn't that good so the last thing they would want is trade young Dman. Besides, Juulsen is just coming off of a (recurring) headaches issues. Although they weren't as bad as Nolan Patrick's, Habs won't get much if they wanted to trade him.

If you include Meier, Habs would have to give up much more than Juulsen. Sharks might ask for a package centered around either Habs' potential 9th overall pick or Primeau++ and both scenarios aren't likely to happen. There's still a chance the 2020 draft in December remains in Montreal and Primeau is basically Price's future replacement.

Juulsen was showing very promising sign before getting hurt, he is big, he skate well, he have good positioning he will be a top 4 defenseman easily in a couple of year. He would probably have been already if it where from injury that slowed him down.
And just like i said before in a package deal the habs would probably target Meier they have the prospect pool and pick to achieve it

Probably both worth a 2nd right now depending on where that 2nd is in the 40s or 60s. The biggest thing here is Juulsen coming back from injury, if he shows he can be a solid defensive dman then the Habs have to keep him. He would need to be kept in order to have a back up for Petry or Weber with injuries and to create competition between the younger guys competing for spots. Brook, Fleury and Juulsen should all be competing for that 3rd RHD position next season and let the best man win.

Nolan Patrick was also a promising top prospect when Philly drafted him until he started to deal with recurring headaches/migraines. It's just not worth it to give up Juulsen right away (before he shows he can consistently play in the NHL) because his value isn't that high due to his previous head issues. Habs are better off with keeping Juulsen just like Kings did with Gabe Vilardi, who has dealt with back injuries for 1-2 seasons. Even if his ceiling isn't as high as Vilardi, I'm sure that a Noah Juulsen who was proven that he can play in NHL has more value than the current Noah Juulsen who has yet to play after coming off of his injuries.

from what it's written, it's like you wrote it as if Juulsen was the key piece of the deal which is why I wrote they wouldh ave to include much more than Juulsen.

Don’t comment just to comment if you are to repeat exactly what i said. You just did it again with that Nolan Patrick non sense. If you had follow the whole conversation you would notice that i valued him very high
