Probably not 1 for 1. Would you throw in ZAR or Simon. Would be willing to throw in a sweetener

Um. How? Your getting a solid 2nd rounder and blichfield... a guy who put up 114 points in the whl and then followed it up with 32 points in 44 games as a rookie in AHL and got rewarded with a call up.

He's nice, but he's likely a middle six winger which the Leafs have enough of. I'd rather get a higher pick than this package.

Whether you consider that to be fair value or not doesn't really matter because to get kapanen you're gonna have to either overpay, or forget it. Kapanen for a first rounder, now we're talking. Whether you think he's worth that, I don't really care, but thats pretty much all the sharks could offer to make it worth moving him

Canucks wouldn't accept that. THere's no one to replace him and he's got solid chemistry with Horvat.

That's a lot to give up for Cernak. Having his rights would be huge, but unless Tampa Bay moves some big contracts they'll be priced out of him and signing him to a multi-year contract for 3mil would only cost a 2nd rd pick

They need all the RHD prospects they can find to restock their pool. Meloche or DeSimone would be a better sweetener.

Also, switch the 2nds. VAN should get the COL2nd and TOR should get the SJS2nd.
