What is this composition? Are we definitely going to fight for the playoffs or again for the top 10 and Jack trade?

Defense improve, goaltending vastly improved, penalty kill improved, Krueger is a defense first coach, 3rd line has a lot of skill, if Cozens graduates to the 2nd line - Johansson becomes the 3rd line center. All this improvement, where do you see a problem

Is Sanderson ready for the NHL? I read that it won't be ready yet. Basically my complaint about the attack, we still haven't found 2C. Why do we need Helm on the third line? I don't see that this squad will fight for the playoffs. But I love to grumble so never mind.

I think I agree with Salami here. I think defense gets worse. Borgen is not an upgrade over montour or miller. And dahlstrom is mediocre at best. I would think we could find better options for the left side. Goaltending does get better. But healthy ullmark playing 60 games is an upgrade over last season anyways.
Our middle six is largely the same and I dont see the improvement we need to compete. That 2nd line definitely needs more for sure talent. I like kahun alot but I dont think I trust him to be a productive 2c

Ive heard hes ready, scouts are very high on Sanderson. Kahun Olofsson and Johansson did pretty well together at the end of the year they can roll till at least February to let Cozens adapt. Helm is a great pk forward and has led the league in zone entries for years. Put him with some talent youll find theirs some production left in him

This team is no better than the current team...and Kahun is not a center, he hasn't been in a long time.

And drafting Jake Sanderson should get you fired immediately, he's not a top-10 pick...this team needs offense.

This is just all around atrocious.

The middle 6 is much better and Borgen is an upgrade over Miller and, the way Montour played in Buffalo, he could surpass Montour as well

Sanderson is being ranked as high as top 3 by some scouts bro rofl. Also this team is much better. The 3rd line is infinitely better than what ever AHLers they had on it last year. That 2nd line was good enough to wait on Cozens. The Goaltending is infinitely better.

There was too little sample, we still need 2C, it just should be the main task for Adams in the offseason. Cozens is a wild card, of course he has the potential to be the second Jeff Carter or Eric Staal, but he can also be the second Charlie Coyle, so I definitely wouldn't want to rush to develop him. Kahun did not play in the NHL center, so we need 2C.

Sanderson choice is quite controversial, I would not choose him. We need a forward and there will be 3-4 good options.

Sanderson isn't going to be NHL ready, if we draft a D with 8th OA I'm cheering for the hometown Oilers which would suck. Holtz or Perfetti is who we would take I should hope

Perfetti is not going to be there at 8, Holtz needs to work on his defensive play and is a clone of Olofsson

Trading for Helm, alright
Trading for random stuff from Dallas isn't any recipe for success. (Especially acquiring picks for next year's draft without having any reason to need picks in next year's draft to be filled in for.)
I'd rather keep Miller than acquire a 3rd and a depth Dman. Dahlstrom is literally just a guy, nothing special or anything.

Hmm I see conflicting reports on where Perfetti gets taken, some have him as high as 4, some as low as 9 or 10. Holtz would be a great option, we need more Olofsson type players cause we can't score a single goal most games

Caamano is a young RW prospect that has some NHL experience,
