You don't think he's worth Josh Manson money?

I don't know anything about who is or who isn't on Silfverberg's NTC, but with 12 teams, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Buffalo would be one of them.

I'd take that trade from the Ducks side though.

You have to pay Joki and Dahlin the season after. Id rather save that cap

Point well taken. You have only $10 million coming from Johansson, Hutton and McCabe, so after replacing them with ELC's, you'd have only $7 million to bridge the two young stars -- probably not enough. And that's after moving Montour and Ristolainen (which is why I don't think exchanging the latter for Silfverberg is such a good idea).

Welcome to CapFriendly, by the way.

With the team I assembled, I would have 23.3 million in cap space for next year and that is before the expansion draft.

I see the $10 million I mentioned plus the $6 million carryover plus $2 million from Kahun (assuming you're not going to re-sign him) plus the $1 million from Barberio, minus the $5 million or so in ELC's to replace them. Where's the other $9 million or so? (Just curious.)

Thanks. So if you assume that the other 8 players are on ELC's or similar low-cost contracts aggregating roughly $8 million, you'd have about $15 million to spend on Dahlin and Jokiharju, which should be enough.

Good offer sheet for Grz, I think that would be more than Boston could/would be willing to pay but it's not an overpayment for him as I see him as a really reliable 2nd pair guy. The only question is whether he would sign ANY offersheet to leave Boston, for that AAV though maybe
