You are lucky to have such a great team, they won't be making any significant moves before October. CBJ wouldn't be able to do the Kunitz deal or Pittsburgh would have to retain a lot of the salary. Calgary got their goalie at the draft. I wouldn't trade Pouliot either he's a bright young defenseman.

As a pens fan, I know the pens won't win the Stanley Cup with the exact same roster they had last year. It's too predictable for other teams. As soon as one team figures out the Penguins, everyone will know how to beat them. I agree that the pens won't do anything before October, but this is all hypothetical, so get off me. As soon as Columbus trades Hartnell, they will have plenty of cap space. The issue is the Pens roster isn't that strong, they just got hot at the right time. Going the whole year with Sheary and Rust in your top 6 will not work.
