No doubt but like I said he was off balance and it got away from him it happens. It’s not the first fanned shot in the history of the nhl. That does not equal breakaway the other way if they have atleast one guy using his head. That guy should have been jones, that’s his primary responsibility. It was a poor decision to join the rush. Another option is to trade Marner for someone like Seider and then sign Pietrangelo. But he probably won't come cheap and we will have to give too much term.
