A lot of reasons for a Toronto to say no here.
1. DeAngelo isn't the type of guy they need. He's essentially a younger Barrie and Toronto has enough of those. I'd rather just give Liljegren the shot and not have to give up their best prospect.
2. The cap comes into play here. DeAngelo is a RFA and I believe he has arb rights (don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% sure). Regardless, he'll be looking for a good size raise and Toronto can't really afford that without moving someone else major out and they're pretty adamant on keeping their core together.
3. DeAngelo has had 1 good season. Nothing suggests he'll for sure maintain his pace, and giving up their best prospect is a steep price to ask when they'll need Robertson to fill in after they move some forwards out for next season.
In reality, the value might be close but it just can't happen as is. If any deal were to happen it would have to start with Johnsson for DeAngelo and then add a bit more from there. I'd say that's also only if DeAngelo is willing to take under $4M which I think he'd likely be asking for more after the type of season he had
