i agree can also just bring Korshkov up and give him a shot also would rather lose Willy then Marner

Ryan Ellis can't be moved without getting someone like him back. The Preds don't have the blueline depth for it.

And we're still not doing a winger swap with Andy.

Cause of this thing called a salary cap, Bolts need to sign Serg and Cirelli and wont have cap to sign Cernak.

Logically they trade him for a potenial top 4 dman who can play 3rd pair mins next season since hes on his ELC

Saving 1.5 million not enough to lose a productive top four rhd for a prospect. There is zero chance tampa helps Toronto get better defensively. Yes tampa has cap issues but Cernak affordable and not going anywhere
