Why is Lindgren out of the lineup? Gardiner stinks don't want him. Staal-Smith d pair would, literally, be the worst pairing in the entire league

You can swap the D as you like. Gardiner actually isn't terrible. He has a bad rep from game 7s but hes never been an awful d man. He was very unlucky this year

Canes are kind of strapped tbf. They have a surplus of good D men that they wouldm't want to risk. Andersson isn't someone you cant sign and still has tons of upside. He just hates the coach. Lundqvist still has something left in the tank and would be a great 1B option (since carolina can then move one of the goalies for picks and specs so they don't lose for nothing. This then gives Nedeljkovic a way to step in). In a sense, the two of them are helping eachother

We have 2 goalies on contract. Ned isn’t going to be a nhl starter. On top of that, Lias has little value because you can’t sign him. Lundy has negative value. 2nd doesn’t come close to the value

Lias is signed though. He lefts due to issues with the organization. He’s still a good prospect.

Carolina laugh. Hank is a cap dump, he got out-duelled by both Reimer and Mrazek. Lias is good, but not enough for Fleury or Gardiner.
