Totally, like that time everyone said Kapanen was going to get 5+ million, or when Johnsson was supposed to get 4+. Or when Muzzin was going to get 6 years at 6.5+. Dubus did so bad on all of those. Dermott won't get more than 2, because if he asks for more he's gone, he has done nothing to prove he's a game changer and Dubas has never overpaid depth. Which is the mark of a good GM. Unfortunately certain morons don't understand that and think you should pay stars less so you can instead pay depth guys more and then not be able to move them. I've spent all year screaming about Holl is "Ceci" bad, AHL quality...Holl reminds me of ex Leaf Ian White, White looked like a Top 4 Dman on the Leafs weak DCore, but after White left the Leafs, he was barely a 6th-7th Dmen on any other team he played for.

Did you happen to miss the playoffs? The opposite happened. Holl was really good against Columbus. Dermott was good as well but he wasn't at holl's level

Did you watch Game 5 >? Did you see that Holl had Foudy in man to man coverage; Holl watched Foudy go offside and tag up and Holl skated to the bench for a line change (my best guess is he assumed Foudy was going for a line change too) and to everybody's shock Foudy was all alone to score on Freddie the goal which killed the Leafs. The whole team was deflated by Holl's bonehead mistake. You can try to blame Marincin, but no, Holl killed the chance of the Leafs tying the game. Earlier in that deciding game Holl also made another bad decision in his own zone, feeling pressured he coughed up the puck (which he does quite often) and CBJ had a superb scoring chance and the Leafs had to take a penalty because of Holl crappy play. He is not solid, he is hot trash. 2nd-3rd Dman AHL level, 6th-7th Dman NHL level.
