Quantity over quality? No thanks, they tried that in return for O’Reilly.

I just looked at the O'Reilly trade-ouch,not good. So one would think an Eichel would lean toward overpay. 2020 1oa+. goalie is were you start. some of these trades remind me of fantasy hockey
Without using the words, O'Reilly asked to be traded.
He said he lost his love of the game right from the get go.
Then added insult by saying he was looking forward to playing in Europe and had not been excited about playing hockey in a long time.
Please tell me what else does a player have to say without saying I am not happy here, please trade me.
So the return for O'Reilly was on the low side of the spectrum.
While O'Reilly could win face offs, Jack is much more dynamic and much more talented.
Comparing the two for trade purposes does not work.
O'Reilly wanted to be traded and is not as talented as Eichel.
The return would need to be a huge over payment which I do not think the Rangers are willing to do.
This is not a huge over payment.
