NYR want nothing to do with Kerfoot.

Sabres really don't need RHD.

Wild trade is hefty but I'll do it with a Brodin extension.

Oh Kapanen... I would love Kasperi Kapanen and would accept a deal 1v1 but I think we have to much depth at W to accommodate him.

I don't see why we would "want nothing to do with Kerfoot," when he could be a really good 3C for us since he has a solid defensive game along with the ability to put up some points. As for the Buffalo trade, I forgot about Miller and Montour, so I think we could do a trade just like this with another team who's interested (maybe Winnipeg?). Lastly, there's the Minnesota trade which I thought was even for both teams, with of course, an extension in the works.

Just so you know, Kap is overrated. Half the people on this site think he's better than Nylander but I am about done with him. He sucks defensively and rarely shows up. I want him unloaded as fast as possible.

If this offer doesn't work for Brodin, what does? We're giving up a 2C, a promising prospect who has been trusted with big minutes in Sweden, a 2nd and 3rd, plus Staal to fill on the 3rd pair at LD, which he can do.

Buffalo side of me offers you Colin Miller who is solid on both ends and under a similar contract!

He would block Morgan Barron who would be better than him, play the same role, and cheaper. Not to mention him spurning us to sign with COL.

Barron probaby would need another year or two before he is completely ready to make the transition as our 3C. Kerfoot would be the perfect stopgap in that place. Him choosing another team as a college UFA doesn't really bother me

I don't think you'll find many Wild fans that want anything to do with Strome. We don't have elite players like Panarin to make him as useful as he was to you guys. If we're trading Brodin, or Dumba for that matter, we need the deal to include a 1C, or a potential 1C, coming back to us. Henriksson looks ok on paper, but I think the only deal to be made is one that neither should do. We'd want the trade to involve someone like Chytil, who I don't think NYR should move.

He's signed longer than a stop gap. You can't do that tho, every player will just assume they will just get traded then. No chance. he made his choice.

Miller sucks. There is a reason why all Buffalo fans are wanting to trade him and there was a reason all Vegas fans wanted to trade him and why Boston wanted Vegas to take him in the expansion draft v

He was in fact a healthy scratch for parts of the playoffs.

I think he's getting moved for a defenceman and I would be fine with an older one.

I guess that's the unfortunate truth of the situation, but hopefully for the Rangers sake, Guerin settles for less.
