This is something I can get behind, Monahan I believe is an excellent player.

Not sure if this gets it done given that I think they like SM too much to trade him. Like where your head is at though!

I'd do that. Big Kravtsov fan but if we're getting a top 6 C with control it's worth it.

Still seems like an overpayment. Sure, a solid C, but he doesnt check some necessary boxes like playing physical and penalty killing... and put up less points than Strome last season.

I don't think it's about the cost but Calgary seriously lacks in the C position without Monahan.
