I would not trade Marner... UNLESS it was involving one of the Tkachuk brothers... I think he had a bad year and still had a good season

Marner taking a lot of unnecessary heat. Not to mention he LOVES being a leaf. You know who else loved being a leaf? Nazem Kadri. How's that trade looking now? I know Marner isn't the same kind of player Kadri but that's not my point

buddy... at the time Barrie was a big get... but what an awful deal that turned out to be. Imagine if he was able to slide into 2C in game 5 with Nylander on the wing as they loaded up the big three... they would have ACTUALLY had two threats instead of one... all Torts had to do was keep that top line at bay and the rest were non threats.
