Blackhawks would only trade him next season when he needs a new contract or just make other moves to make room for Panarin if they can otherwise I like this trade now

Agreed. In that case then remove the 2nd rounder and then I'd still do it. I actually wanted to make the pick conditional on the trade happening before the trade deadline.

Why are the Blackhawks gettng rid of Scott Darling? He's cheap and a very good backup. The trade is fine Its value wise, but they dont need furcale. Is furcale supposed to replace crow down the road?
