Drouin is a good piece, but if the Sharks are trading Hertl they are probably looking to completely rebuild. Drouin doesn't really do that.

Struble is a ho-hum prospect who barely moves the needle (IMO).

Verbeek isn't worth his reserve slot.

The first-round pick is definitely nice.

Overall, it is too little of the wrong type of assets. Sharks pass.

Oh it’s his nephew. I looked him up. And he played for The Soo!! How about it!
Send him to the Wings! How’s he progressing, does he have a realistic shot at making it?

Drouin and the 1st is a good starting spot and that's close to being fair but the 2 prospects don't have much value.

Would you be interested in Hertl for Drouin, Montreal's 2020 1st, a forward prospect with top 6 potential, and St. Louis' 2020 2nd?

Saw him a couple of times at camp. i think he's one of those guys that his skill set would not translate well to the NHL. Looks good out there, but there's something missing when you compare him to the big dogs.

So yes, you could have him! wink

Honestly he’s going to be an AHL/NHL tweener but he has the intangibles to be a guy who can be a fourth line Centre. He’s never going to be the integral piece of a trade
