Zacha really isn't meant to be a 2nd line center. He is the perfect guy for a team who needs a defensively responsible center for their pk. Just can't see him working out in buffalo. He would do better in a 3c role but buffalo has that covered

Buffalo could look at tampas johnsson, Vegas Stansy, or Toronto's kerfoot as options or offer sheet cirelli

Krueger doesn’t really have lines. The Zacha and Lazar line would get the defensive zone starts. While the Eichel and Cozens line would get the offensive zone starts.
I would love Cirelli but Botterill traded the 3rd round pick that is needed to get 9 goals out of Vesey.

They could get a third through one of the many trades were probably gonna see out of this team cause I see a rebuild happening. Don't know how big but its gonna be interesting this off-season

Zacha offers more as 3rd line center...two-way player, very responsible in his own end. Great PKer. Can play wing too and gives a little more offense there, but not best role. Can be streaky....heat up offensively at times, but not enough to carry an offensive line. If Olofsson/Cozens become secondary scoring line, Zacha would probably fit here as 3rd center.

He would be a bridge center for Cozens getting the defensive zone starts. They had a defensive line as the 2nd line this year too.

if that is what BUF is looking for...it sounds a lot like Zacha. You may have a good one here.

It wouldn’t be my favorite idea but I think it’s an option.
