Description
Is that fair value for Sergachev all things considered? Tampa has 9 forwards (assuming Killorn is traded), 3 defensemen, and 2 goalies signed with just ~9.8M in Cap space. With Cirelli, Sergachev, and Cernak to sign as RFAs. There’s not a lot of room there. With Dermott, they get a good 3rd pair who could maybe play in the top-4, and he wouldn’t cost nearly as much to re-sign as Sergechev. Liljegren is an NHL ready prospect who would benefit from playing behind a pretty good top-4, and with Coburn as a mentor on the 3rd pair.

sergachev prolly needs more to be a fair trade.
i wouldnt do the nylander trade is i was leafs. nylander worth more.
pittsburgh trade interesting. could work. penguins walk away with a 2/3rd line LW + ????

Yeah, the Nylander trade would have to involve picks, but these would be the main pieces.

That trade only saves Tampa a couple million. The only way I see them trading RFAs is attaching them to contracts like Gourde or Johnson
