Moving Ritter is probably still a bad call. Not a big fan of moving Doc but it might have to happen. Like the idea of giving Bennett a chance at 2C but Ill fix the lines for you

Gaudreau - Monahan - Liindholm
Hall - Bennett - Tkachuk
Mangiapane - Backlund - Dube
Lucic - Gawdin - Rieder

I like these lines if Gawdin is ready for 4C.

Might have to add something to the Buffalo trade to see if they’ll retain some salary, Hall will probably cost more than that. Not sure how I feel about the goalie situation, I’m a fan of Rittich and don’t think Talbot is a full time starter in the regular season, or if he is, his playoff potential will be much lower. He’s showing his 2016 potential again now that he’s well-rested, it wouldn’t be smart to burn him out again.

I think Hall will take a 1 year deal to boost his value, so he can get a better deal later

Hall has made it very clear he will not be taking a short term deal, he doesn't want to deal with FA again

In a flat cap? I think he will get around 8M and he prioritize a long term deal with a contender over a big pay day. Talbot might be a full time starter next year but I still think trading Rittich is a bad move. None of the other goalies are NHL ready and I don't trust the cheap FA market enough.

Overall I don't mind this team but maybe Montour over Miller?

People seem to value Montour crazy high. I thought he had a down year but apparently he’s worth a whole lot still. If all we have to add to this deal is Janko and/or a 5th or later I say go for it, depending on his QO and if he accepts that.

Id take rittich for a 3rd but I have no idea why you'd want to move him.

I don't. Didn't want to move Ryan either but I needed the cap space, and Talbot is just a more proven goalie than Rittich at this point.

Yeah I'd rather Montour over Miller, but his AAV will probably be higher and I already moved Rittich and Ryan (even though I hated it) to fit Hall in while keeping the rest of the forward group in tact as well.

Going to be tough sledding for Treliving this off season if he wants to bring in Hall.

Agreed, before these playoffs I had Bennett as the one leaving but no way now
