I like Mikheyev, but I don't think the Caps have much need for him unless they've already given up on Panik. The only winger that's definitely on his way out is Kovy, and they probably want to give his spot to McMichael.

As for Andersen, I don't think the Caps would have any interest at all there. Samsonov is the goalie of the future, and if they look for a more experienced goalie to pair with him it'd be someone cheap who'd be ok with a 50-50 split, like Khudobin. If they wanted an expensive vet for one year to force Samsonov into a backup role again they could just offer Holtby a 1 year deal anyway.
