Nuge's contract is pretty fair.

I feel like i'd like to get Yams closer to 4. He really has only shown production for 25-30 games. If they try to lock him up this year, I'd say his pointless "playoff" performance plays in favour of the Oilers. He's one of those guys I think the Oilers could get a real bargain of a deal on. A year ago today, he was looking more and more like a bust, never really being able to find his footing with the big club. Given this, I could easily see him accepting a long term deal at $4M. Guarantees him $25-30M. It will be interesting how Holland approaches it

I'd move RNH for a top 4 d-man or better winger while you can. A lot of teams are looking for a top 6 centre, use his value to help out the areas that need to be addressed

& this is why the Oilers won't progress. They're exactly like like that comment: stubborn. There's no need for RNH when you can get better value for a trade to address other areas. Or just keep playing and getting the same result and wasting McDavid.

You really said trade RNH when wingers are one of the positions we need the most of. Everyone knows RNH is infinitely better as a LW than as a C. Can't tell if you're trolling.

What does that even mean? Hes a great skater, really shifty. This might be the very first time I've ever seen anyone talk down on Nuges skating over his 8 year career. Kind of thing you expect to see on hf boards, not here. Yikes

If the Oilers trade Nuge, Draisaitl and McDavid are their only legitimate top 6 forwards. Yamamoto obviously isn't 100% established yet, but probably a safe bet. You think its smart to move him? You must be trolling. After the big 2, Kassians 34 pts would have him 3rd on the team in scoring. As an Oiler fan I really don't like the sounds of that, but you seem to have a pretty good idea.

The cap will be 81.5 so this is out. Demelo won’t be signed they will have berglund or someone like that and one of the top 3 guys on LD will be gone.

Slow for a winger? That's not even true but these are his stats as one

2019-20 regular season (he was a winger from January 1 onwards): 29 games, 14 goals, 37 points, 1.28 PPG (5th in the league during that span)
2020 play-in series: 4 games, 2 goals, 8 points, 2.00 PPG (3rd in the league when the Oilers got eliminated)

They commited 2020-21 and 2021-2022 to being 81.5 with a review after that and possibly another 2 year extension.

Lol. Stats don't tel how fast a guy is. His point totals are inflated from playing with McDavid and Draistail..

Of course they are. That's why Milan Lucic, James Neal, and Zack Kassian all were on pace for 100 points/season while playing with McDavid...oh wait
