Right but where does Nylander fit? He’s not his best at C, which we need. Kreider, Panarin, Buchnevich, Kakko, Kravtsov, Lafreniere, Gautheir are all fighting for top 9 spots. It’s just not a good fit regardless of value. Plus trading Shesty, even in acquiring, Nylander sets this team farther back from contending. I’m happy to talk Georgiev trades with you tho...

Actually that’s a great deal for us and a stupid trade by Toronto!!! but we need someone to take on Jones or find a way to bury him in the minors or ltir the guy.

I don't think Jones is going anywhere with that contract. He could be a backup goalie but at almost 6M for 4 more years I'm not sure what team would take him without you having to pay a ridiculous price.
