Sabres have a horrible prospect pool, they need to stay put especially if a player like Raymond is available at 8th overall. Kravtsov has underwhelming numbers in both the AHL/KHL.

So essentially you're trading LaFreniere, Kravtsov and the 23rd overall pick for Byfield, Raymond and the 33rd overall pick. That wouldn't be my choice.
