I doubt they’d include a 3rd with Strome if we’re only getting a 2nd back (cause Pilut left). Seems a tad like poor asset management.

I feel like a high 2nd is generous enough considering his contact projection and his time with Panarin.

The 2nd seems decent, but we wouldn’t be sending a third as well. He’d have more value for us playing on a one or two year deal and then moving on from him.

Our thankfully fired former gm decided jimmy vesey was gonna be an important cog in the machine. And he sent you a third just to prove that his keen eye for hockey talent still was in the mail. So now if our new gm were to try to offer sheet a guy like cirelli, and the compensation would involve said third rounder, he has to get the stupid pick back first. It wont be the last idiotic thing he has to fix though. Its ok, you can say no, or insist that we send you back a second for that third, honestly it doesnt matter, i cant see a rookie gm in the current financial climate trying to offer sheet anybody. Frankly im starting to worry there wont be a season at all. The nhl is not the nfl, they HAVE to have people in the seats, theres no tv money.
