Gawdin makes the team, why are Lindholm and Gaudreau in the bottom 6?

Not bad !
Your linup position is awful. But for signings and ryan trade it's good ! Not sold on Connauton

Pretty much boils down to the team shifting to a 3-scoring lines structure. They’d roll 3 lines endlessly with the 4th line doing spot duty. So lines 1-3 would get equal 5v5 ice time, and then the players you would expect to see get more minutes via PP/PK would do just that.

If this core is going to be kept together, they need 3 lines producing - this gives them the chance at that.

Just looking at creating 3 lines that can produce offensively and not get shelled defensively.

Connauton interests me because his underlying numbers are strong, but he lost an entire year to injury it looks like - but really just looking for cheap players that a good coach can get more out of.

So what Vegas does? But like without putting their best players on the 3rd line. IMO just keep Dube and Bennett together and just give them like Mangiapane or Backlund

I like all of this. Lines should be
Hall - Mony - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - Mang
Gaudreau - Benny - Dube
Lucic - Quine - Karlsson

Yeah absolutely. I’d also want to see Hall-Monahan-Tkachuk at some point too - could that be a power vs. power line?
