I dont think the canes do this, it would be pretty much a lateral move. At least right now Fleury is better than Liljgren while Nylander is better than Necas. The issue is after making the trade the canes would lose about 5 mil in cap space and still need another top 6 forward. Necas also in limited minutes has showed too much upside for the canes to move.

Hard pass from the Canes, Necas doesn't have to be protected from Seattle, Nylander does.
