Using the Kap trade as a Domi bench mark isn’t smart. Just because on GM got fleeced doesn’t mean others will. Domi isn’t even worth the first let alone the rest

not sure if Buffalo would let Dylan go but who knows Eichel wants in the playoffs now not later and are at risk of him wanting out.

Dylan Cozens will be part of the solution on winning. He’s going to be a great player. Domi is an average player with one fluke season.

Not overvaluing anyone the deal plays out as

Domi + Kulak + Poehling for Cozens + 1st (I think that is pretty fair a 2C + 3C prospect + top 4 LHD)

Hutton's cap dump + 3rd as incentive

This actually had nothing to do with the Kapanen trade as I found it ridiculous as well.

Is Cozens really that good? I don't know much about him to be honest.

One of the best prospects in hockey. Played a huge role in Canada winning gold at the world juniors.

I see, I knew he played well at the WJR's but didn't pay much attention to him as a prospect throughout the year lol. I based adding him solely on what I saw at the WJR's.

Yeah Buffalo I think has 4 untouchables
Eichel, Dahlin, Cozens and 8th overall. They won’t trade Cozens and 8th overall because they have a horrible prospect pool.
