McDonagh has a terrible contract. Just sign Dillion for way less and keep the pick. Why waste assets for a lateral move

If Orlov is going to stay on the Caps, they should be skating him on the left side. Carlson and Jensen are the only NHL/NHL ready RD the Caps have. I want to see them go for a tough, defensively sound, puck moving RD, and if he can contribute a little offensively, great, but not the need. If the Caps resign Dillon (please, say, 4 x $4 million), then Dillon, Orlov, Siegenthaler, Fehervary, Kempny are at least one too many. And Fehervary needs to skate a regular shift -- in DC or Hershey. He's 20, it's not a year to sit on the bench. I like Orlov and think he's a good second pairing D, but given his salary and possible return, I think maybe the Caps move him for a natural RD.
