Really like the moving of Anderson and acquiring Bennett but I feel more needs to be added to that. As a leafs fan, I think I like Campbell over Stalock and I dont think that blue line is strong enough still. Also really like the addition of Holtby but scared at 5 years. Like the creativity though!

You started off well. I don’t think signing holtby is wise. I would also be shocked if he signed that low.

My personal opinion.... run stalock and Campbell. At the TDL trade for a hot goalie. Goaltending is a fickle thing. It could be that stalock and Campbell hold the pipes.

I think value wise the trade with the flames is close but they don’t want to lose Bennet and his term on a rental goalie. I would add something small with term. An rhd or RW prospect would fit nicely.

Yes its small changes, but without moving 1 of the big 4, its tough. Holtby is taking a salary cut to be a starter in TOR so hes got to get length. Its minimal moves and Bennett is not as offensive as Johnsson, but he brings some bang and grit and is still young. The defense is still a big question mark, but Johns is a big stay at home type, who may be a good partner for reilly, Honka is a ?, but it allows youth to play and not be too young, maybe its liljegren and not honka, but again without moving a big salary, its hard to see where the cap space comes for a bigger UFA dman.
Only skater Johnsson moved but brought back Bennett and two RD.

Some good creativity in the post. But signing the soon to be 31 year old....rather middling Holtby, no thank you. Gotta think the Wild keep the inexpensive and sometimes starter Stalock.
Honka has never secured a NHL job and a trip to Finland hasn't made him NHL capable now IMO.
