you arent taking on cap unless dermott gets 3+. I dont know why the leafs give up a haul for Parayko when they could just move kerfoot and johnsson in seperate deals for space and since pietrangelo (and keep dermott, liljegren and pick 15)

Uhh no. I don't. Kerfoot is signed for three years, not one, so you need to add $7M to that total. Our cap crunch is not going to end this offseason, and this is a large boost to that problem. So now we're not just screwed one time, we're probably going to be screwed 3 times, and that means chipping away more valued pieces.

Oh... and if Lilly is still an AHL player next season, then why are we making this trade again? If he's not going to be useless to us next season, then add another $863K on the cap hit we take. And then another $863K for the 21-22 season.

In summation:

Blues takes about $18M+ total cap.
Leafs take about $12M+ total cap.
