Buffalo won't be taking Jack Johnson; and Matt Murray isn't worth trading a good Dman and taking on a completely garbage contract.

Buffalo has the cap space and they are probably not going to be a serious contender for a couple years... don’t see why it’s not worth getting a starting goalie

No they don’t cap penalties and cheap owners. They have an expensive offseason next year too.
They can just resign Ullmark who had a significantly better season than Murray for a cheaper price.

They were in the thick of it this year before injuries and will be a contender for the playoffs this year.

But is it worth it with no prospect pool?

I dont know what you're getting at here. Yes they prospect pool is a little thin but thats mainly because most of their high draft picks are playing now. (And missed a couple)

However I was talking about your goalie trade. Which is awful. Plus we lose so much cap space taking Johnson and signing murray to that ridiculous contract. And you have them trading mitts. So their prospect pool gets worse and we effectively lose an opportunity to sign new players cause we're wrapped up in Pittsburghs trash
