I Think you might be missing something on the NJD trade. Also absolutely no way Oilers move out our best Defencemen.

The amount of ACGM with Andreas Johnsson as a top 6 is laughable. Lehkonen consistently puts up better numbers, and is solid defensively. I don't think Lehkonen is more than a 3LW, but he is superior to Johnsson.

Line up sure looks good though eh. D are a little weak, Bouchard for me needs more time in the minors. But just spit balling.

Lehkonen on my roster plays with JP to help him along and feel comfortable.

It's a pretty decent offer but the whole reason Danault is dissatisfied and potentially available is he wants a top 6 offensive role. You aren't giving him that here so he wouldn't be any happier than he currently is in MTL.

Trading Klef for a 3C is not wise

Also, Danault is way better than a 3C. In fact, he's prolly a great 2C. Why would we acquire him.

Drai and McDavid does not work. Does more harm than good.

I actually had Danault and his 15 goals max playing on a 2nd line with Nuge at LW and JP at Right wing. But tried to get JP to play with another Finn. SO I changed it

The Oilers scored 15 goals over 4 games in the play-ins. I don't think offense was their biggest problem.

I know but it give them the ability to play around there roster if needed.

Danault was 17th among all centers in EVP, and ahead of names like O'Reilly, Kuznetsov, and Tavares. And has Selke level defense
imo he's overqualified for the job
