Offering 2 rentals as main pieces would knock you out of the running for Laine pretty quick.

Because Puljujarvi wants out, EDM needs defense, and Kulak is a good cheap option that impressed in the playoffs.

I don’t think you understand of what a fair trade looks like. None of these are fair for the other teams.

And I don't think you understand 'of what' grammar is. The Puljujarvi trade makes complete sense because the player wants out, EDM needs defenders, and Kulak is a cheap option (keeping Edmonton's cap situation in mind) that has impressed a lot in these playoffs. On top of that, EDM gets a 3rd round pick

You do realize jp is coming back to Edmonton next year. All indications are a deal is in the works. Oilers have had no interest in moving him. Not throwing away a very talented kid after what was incredibly clear case of poor usage and just horrendous handling. Holland ain’t stupid

Haha. You’re so funny!! Kulak sucks (maybe a 7th defence man). Puljujarvi is coming back you know. Puljujarvi is not getting moved and that final!!

WOW you just joined Cap Friendly and I can see what kind of person you are! Maybe you should get your facts straight about Puljujarvi by the way.

Listen kid, Puljujarvi just signed a 1-year extention with his Finnish team. Whenever a player sits out for such a long period of time, cleary there's something wrong. Man up and accept the truth.

Who do you think you are? You come on cap friendly and think you run the place. Well let me tell you that you are completely wrong, you need to go get your facts straight, and you need to learn the VALUES of players. Clearly things you haven’t figured out how to do.

Yeah he doesn't understand value at all. If he thinks Arizona is taking on Karl Alzner's contract to just move up a round in the mid-rounds. Not even on the table. Maybe if the Canadiens offer a 1st and Alzner for a 2nd rounder, and even IF* (big if) a team is willing to do that it definitely wouldn't be Arizona. They are considering trading OEL to open up space to add some cap to work with so they can add offensive pieces. They aren't taking any extra contracts that won't contribute. Probably just a high schooler or something working out some teen angst with the way he responds.

Bruh I'm actually concerned about your mental state now. You do understand that Edmonton has wasted almost 4 years of Puljujarvi's career, right? Why would he value that franchise?

Have you not heard on what Puljujarvi and Holland has said? Puljujarvi is coming back to Edmonton next year. It’s funny how you think he’s not. Puljujarvi has had a wasted career until now because of Chiarelli. He wrecked him, and brought him up as soon as he could because we needed a winger kind of like how he did with Yamamoto (if you even knew that, because it doesn’t look like you know much especially about the oilers). He wrecked his confidence (if you didn’t know that) and now he’s gaining it again, and he has changed and is coming back!

You stupid idiot. Arizona is basically done as a franchise. They have no money left, no picks in the first three rounds this year, and no picks in the first two rounds next year. The Coyotes are gonna lose Taylor Hall for free. They are only trading OEL because they owe him $4 million in bonuses by the end of September (not to mention the remaining 7 years he has on his lucrative contract). They will gladly take a cap dump where they only have to pay Alzner $6.5 million combined over the next two years. I thought people here would know this, but I guess I was expecting too much from losers like you rotting in their parents' basements.

Haha did this turn hostile? Is what it is believe what you want.... What you will see is JP in an oilers jersey probably trying to pick his nose with his tongue cause he’s into that and many of us really look forward to his return.
