why would pittsburgh do this there getting a center who would be playing on the 3rd line for one of the best 1st line pairing defenseman

yes, a capable top pairing DFD who is needed to cover for Letang isn't worth a 3C 👍

No, he isn't, he is however a capable number 2 guy who can cover for a 1OFD, and he is far better than Leddy and Doughty Trouba and Burns, but then again this guys are hardly better than bottom pair d men, I also would never consider ADA or Klefbom top pair guys (or Jones, but I have no interest in that argument rn, most overrated player in the league right there), also love that list has 2 rangers d men on it but doesn't even have their best d man lol
