easily is worth a 3rd Holl had very good defensive stats this year. Any team needing a good borderline 2nd/prime 3rd pairing guy would easily pay that. Anything less than a 3rd is a joke. Forbert, Gustafsson, got a third. Heck Skeji who is worse than Holl got a 1st.

andersen is older by 1 year, and Lehner is playing well in the playoffs right now because he also has a good team in front of him and that helps. Andersen kept the Leafs alive so many games giving them a chance to win. And giving Lehner 7 million on a cash strapped team is not a smart move

and this year playoffs Andersen played 5 games 1.84gaa .934 save pct Lehner 10 games 2.08 gaa .918 save pct and ps Vegas is a better team then the Leafs

Skeji is not better than Holl. Hes far worse. The fact rangers got a 1st for him was a miracle cause if u compare the 2 (Holl was significantly better on the penalty kill, better defensively, only advantage skeiji had was offense)

Year after year all Leaf fans praise there players and then quickly turn on them. Any gm would want Brady Skjei on there team over Holl. The only reason Holl even played was because the Leafs dont have anyone else

no its because he and muzzin were a good pairing. I dont know what other fan bases are watching but Holl has been excellent this year. Hes had some stumbles but has been fine with Muzzin. His pk stats are comparable to Adam Larssons and his offense has been fine.

Holl - muzzin is still much better than cody ceci lul.

When Holl was with muzzin he was (70% even strength on defense, 72% on the pk) when muzzin got injured his numbers slightly dropped (65% even strength on defense, 68% on the pk). The fact u compared him to cody ceci shocks me as ceci is hot garbage. The guy cannot transition the puck, can barely make a save and has defensive stats worse than Jack Johnson (30% even strength defense, 40% pk). Holl is an NHL defenseman, he and muzzin are a good pairing and if he struggles while muzzin is out Keefe can just move him to the third pairing.

Plus remember dermott is not ready yet to be a 2nd pairing defenseman leaving that pairing vulnerable. Dermott-Holl would have been an excellent third pairing if the leafs had a better partner for rielly.

The funny thing was before we got Campbell i had Crawford coming as our backup lul. Dubas would make a deal where Crawford (50% retained) comes to the leafs and leafs send some low picks and a descent prospect.
