Not the 6th overall, but Duclair for the Boston 1st could be a fit if you're looking for a goal scorer. Can bring 20-30 goals from the middle of the lineup.

Duclair is in the wrong timeline for this team. I would decline.

Steel as the main piece in a package for 10 OA? No. I wouldn't allow you to do this. Bad trade for the Jets.

Duke only just turned 25. I don't think the Ducks are planning on tearing it down to the studs like the Sens did, I think Duke fits right in with they're timeline, even if he's closer to like 28-29 by then.

I meant that in two ways. The one you confronted which I understand your pov but we have enough wingers in that age group and I choose our current and future prospects over him. The other one being Duke won't be a 20-30 goal scorer on the Ducks. They lack the talent as a core imo.

That's fair, but your point about lack of talent doesn't hold much water, given he literally played for the Sens this year and was on pace for 29.

Very fair. But I see this team is in limbo and doesn't have the young talent or identity which we so desperately need. Like wasn't he on the pp with BT and CW?

Also, just watching Ducks hockey for the last 2 years and Duke for his entire career Im just skeptical. Rather role the dice on the pick.
In reality, I could see GMBM trading this pick all things said.
