Description

Markstrom signs a 1 year contract high AAV so that we can protect Demko in expansion draft, then signs a 3 year extension following year for less AAV.

Worth it to trade a 2022 first to get rid of Louie to keep everyone together.

Oof that Erickson contract is rough to take on a first that won't be seen until 2022, Jack Rathbone instead of Tryamkin (not sure he's even going to play here) and 2021 first, and the Kings might accept.

The Kings are hoping to be coming out of the rebuild in two years, not three. I agree that it needs to be 2021, or there's no deal there. The prospect doesn't really matter to me.

The Kings are well aware the trade is more about geting $6mil off your books for another two years so you can sign your studs. They don't care what the actual salary they pay is, if this deal was actually something to happen.
