Personally I would make this trade as DeBrusk would help is next season, but jarmo already said he isn’t going to be moving high picks for a while...

Unfortunately I don’t think a straight up swap of Debrusk for Anderson gets it done; skews too much towards Columbus

Would you be sad to see Anderson leave?

Depends what their mindset is. If they want more, they could probably find it. But I’d hope for their sake losing is something they enjoy because they won’t be winning anywhere that offers them significant more money than this

I'd be sad, personally. When he's healthy, he's an absolute beast, and a no-doubt top-6 forward. But as AJP said, Jarmo isn't moving 1st-rounders anytime soon, and Ritchie would just clog up our bottom 6 more than it already is. And DaBus is right: Hall for sure will not be that cheap, and Krug might be more expensive too.

Lol my advice for you with Ritchie would be to bury him in the minors for a year and forget he exists. Then when his contract is up don’t qualify him. 😉

Nahhh, we’ll play him! Against Columbus, watch him end Atkinson’s career with some sort of cheap shot, and he’ll be suspended for the rest of the year and won’t have to deal with him any more. Cheers!

He who? And regardless, 7.5x5 is not as much money as 6.25x7 (or 8), so I don’t even understand your point?

Hall. Offered 7.5 per year per 5 years. Zona is going back to the table to offer him more years and or $.
