Your taking the wrong contracts. Vancouver wants to move guys with 2 years left like Beagle and Eriksson because they want space for Pettersson and Hughes. This does nothing to help them in that regard.

Beagle and Roussel could work. Similar cap hits for longer term. Just don't think Virtanen holds that much value. Gaudette for sure.

What about Gaudette and a 2nd round pick to move Eriksson with Hutton coming back?

Lol, there is no way the Canucks are giving up Guadette to move Eriksson, let alone adding in a 2nd and taking Hutton back. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Why is everyone trading for Kempny? Serious question.

No doubt but why him? There have to be better options than a guy who might not even be as good as McCabe (and I'm not a McCabe fan).

We don't have a lot of money to throw around with RFA's we have to Re-Sign this year and next so this deal gives us an upgrade and a pick as well as moving Miller who obviously has not worked. Do you have any targets in mind? Oh and me neither. McCabe is at best a third pair LHD.

What were you watching? Miller was one of their better defenders last year and defin. When they allowed him to play... He's not the problem and was their best RHD after Jokiharju last year by a long, long, long way. Perfect pairing for Dahlin.

I'd rather overpay Ben Hutton for a year with the option to flip him at the deadline than take on a 6/7 LHD.

Miller was scratched by Krueger on several occasions and I think went for hot and cold stretches. I like Miller and think he'll improve next year but with our depth at RHD makes him expendable. Kempny is a nice add especially with the pick.

I like Montour over Miller but Montour needs a new contract and I think that's all it'll take for the pegulas to make the seen.
