Not sure re-signing Domingue is necessary. DiPietro is way better than when they threw him into that game a year ago. He’s a solid 3rd option. But if they do sign Domingue, then that’s some great goalie depth. PS I think they look for a guy to be behind DiPietro, maybe Jake Keilly or someone else

Hard to see why Ottawa would take on Baertschi for only a future third. What's your reasoning here?

The following year Pearson and Virtanen become redundant with Hoglander and Podkolzin coming into the fold. Ideally guys like Lind and Lockwood are also ready for some NHL action meaning we could move roussel as well. Edler is either done in Vancouver or signs a 1 year, 1.5m contract and Demko would most likely sign a contract worth 3-3.5m AAV (unless he posts 82 consecutive shutouts). There is room to sign EP40 and QH43 at 10mil each the following year. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
