Decent troll offer for Laine. You should have left out the 1st to make it funnier.

If you wish to call out every Laine trade as a troll offer I'm afraid you will never leave your keyboard. There are people who use this trade simulator not to submit trades that Kevin Cheveldayoff would accept, but to bring impact players to their favourite teams for minimal cost. Chevy does not read these trade simulations, and he certainly does not use these to gauge Laine's value. Unless you yourself are Patrik Laine, I fail to grasp why you continue to rip on the fantasies of other fans.

Most people come here to read and discuss possible trades that have a possibility of actually happening. Not to discuss NHL20 trades, these deals are just trying to incite flame wars. If someone wants to post troll offers they should be called out for trolling as it is against this sites rules.

I just looked through a bunch of the trades in this simulator, and I must say, I would be shocked if any of them happened. It is possible to claim that all of these trades are troll offers. The fact is that fans can't get past their biases when submitting trades. I have never seen a trade on this site where both fanbases said "I accept". Perhaps it would be wise, in the interest of not wasting time calling out trades, to raise the standards of a troll offer to any trade where the gap in value rivals that of the Grand Canyon. Under this new definition I sincerely doubt that this remains a "troll offer." Laine for, say, Parise and a 7th-round pick would be a troll offer. This is merely a trade that Winnipeg passes on.

As much as I'd love Laine, who is passing him the puck? Because our best playmaking center is Victor Rask and he belongs in Europe (Staal and Eriksson Ek are shooters). We have bigger needs at center than to go after Laine. Maybe as a part of a 3 way trade where Laine goes to another team and we finally get our 1C.
